Dr. Leonheart and his team are the best. My son needed all four wisdom teeth extracted—including two impacted ones—and everything went great. The entire process took less than 45 minutes. They explain post-operative care clearly and put you at ease.Thank you!!!

Dr Leonhart and his staff are fantastic! My son recently had his wisdom teeth out. The staff are really welcoming and explain the process thoroughly. Dr Leonhart was super friendly and procedure was fast. My son had minimal swelling and pain. Would recommend to anyone needing an excellent oral surgeon.

Let's face it, no one visits the dentist without a certain amount of trepidation. And no one visits an oral surgeon without an increased amount of concern. This was certainly my case as I approached a visit to Doctor Ryan Leonhart knowing I had to have two teeth removed. However, from the moment I stepped through the door, everyone, from the office staff to the technicians to Dr. Leonhart himself, did everything humanly possible to put me at ease. I was treated with patience, kindness, and understanding every step of my visit. The office staff was cordial and efficient, and they explained my procedure and the costs involved thoroughly. The nurses were calming and comforting and went out of their way to make me feel at ease. And Dr. Leonhart himself was a model of what a physician’s bedside manner should be. I can honestly say that I don’t think that a visit to an oral surgeon could be any less stressful or pain-free than this one. The professionalism of everyone involved was unparalleled in my experience, as was their kindness and concern. Dr. Leonhart even personally called me later that evening to inquire about my welfare. I would give him and South Texas Oral Surgery six stars

Excellent! The front office staff was wonderful in getting my daughter scheduled. Once there the entire visit was great! From check in to check out. Once we were roomed the staff and the Dr. answered all our questions. The nurse remembered my daughter’s birthday the next day. The anesthesiologist was wonderful! Kept us informed as family members. She had 4 wisdom teeth removed and he was done so quickly! Her recovery has been great. Thankyou!

I have had the best dental experience at this place in all my 24 years of living I never knew that extraction could be this simple and calm! I am on day 3 of recovery and I am just so happy I got it done! Dr Hernandez nailed it and I’m happy you were my surgeon. I will recommend to the whole Texas because this is the best place ever! I did my extractions under deep sedation and it was probably the best sleep of my life haha. I hope don’t have to lose anymore of my tooth but if I ever do then this will be my place. I wish I could go on and on but it would be very long. That sums up the awesome experience and care I was given. Thank you! Also Dr Hernandez called to check on me 1 day post op and I was amazed of how caring he is of his patients! “Big up yuh self” (a lot of respect) they would say in Jamaica! From your favorite Jamaican patient!

I had an excellent experience at South Texas Oral Surgery with Dr. Hernandez and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I truly can’t say enough about how comfortable they made me feel. Lisa even called me the day before my appointment to help me get checked in and prepared ahead of time, which made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. That extra step really stood out. Alex called me back and provided one of the best pre-consultations I’ve experienced; thorough, clear, and reassuring. Afterward, Dr. Hernandez came in and went over everything in detail, making sure I understood my options and felt confident in my decision. There was also a team member who helped review my benefits and ensured everything matched the procedure being done. I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly kind and helpful, and I really appreciated her attention to detail. What really stood out was their ability to see me the same day, which meant so much given my situation. Dr. Hernandez, Alex, and Ariana took amazing care of me throughout the entire process. They made sure all my questions were

I was truly BLESSED to be referred to South Texas Oral Surgery for my son. From the moment we walked in, the ENERGY and ATMOSPHERE was VERY welcoming. The staff were all on point and very PROFESSIONAL. Dr. Hernandez was so explanatory as to what surgery needed to take place and assured us that everything would be OK. The surgery took place the same day of the consultation, which was completely AMAZING. It went just as he said it would. My son had no more discomfort and has recovered well. Fast forward, today was my son's follow up and everything looked great. Thank you and God Bless You Dr. Hernandez along with the staff. Personal opnion, it's a 10 out of 10 recommendation. ❤️

Dr. Leonhart it's probably one of the best medical professionals I've ever worked with. I have a phobia with medical places and needles and he took his time to talk me through all of those things so I can get the surgery I needed. I would definitely recommend him if you need your wisdom teeth removed. The nurses were outstanding and took their time to take care of me and talk to me as I was healing.
